Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Department of Art and Cultural Management students came together with art lovers at the Istanbul Art and Antique Fair, which was held between 4-7 November with 25 works they prepared in the lessons. Artist Assoc. Prof. Reyhan Uludağ, one of the academicians of the Department of Art and Culture Management and the Director of IKU Art Gallery, stated that they attach great importance to the fair because the students get to the heart of the matter. Assoc. Prof. Uludağ said, "At the same time, we had the pride of being the only university art stand in the fair." said.
Istanbul Art and Antiques Fair, sponsored by Istanbul Kültür University, which enabled our country to reach an important point in the field of culture and art while representing our country on the international platform; It was the meeting point of art lovers at the Istanbul Congress Center between 4-7 November. Visited by 28,500 people, the Istanbul Art and Antique Fair hosted 10 thousand antique objects from 80 antique shops, more than 300 artists from 42 art galleries, and 2 thousand works of art in an area of approximately 15 thousand square meters for 4 days.

Uludağ said, “There are 25 works made by students at the stand of the university. In addition, the 5 ceramic works here are the works of the students of Alev Oskay, one of the lecturers of the IKU Art and Culture Management Department. The other 20 oil on canvas, acrylic paint and wood paintings belong to my students. We participated in the fair with the works made by the students of the Art and Cultural Management Department within the scope of the course. At the same time, the university has a very valuable collection of about a thousand works. Three works as a selection from this collection are exhibited here.” used the phrases.

Stating that they care about the fair, our teacher said, “The fair was very wonderful for us. Because, our students got into hearth of the business. This is our aim as a department. Our graduates will do this job, so they have done the job. Therefore, we attach great importance to the fair. Among the works on the stand are painting, mixed media, and applications on wood and ceramic works. The fact that the only university art stand participating in the fair belongs to Istanbul Kültür University is a proof of the value we place on art."

Within the scope of the Istanbul 2nd Art and Antique Fair, many local and foreign artists exhibited their works. In addition, previews and VIP openings were made by many galleries at the fair, which was organized by Demos Fairs with the support of Babylons NFT Pazaryeri.
