Master actress Sumru Yavrucuk met with art lovers with her solo comedy play “Shirley” on Thursday, November 17 at Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center. Artist Selmin Artemiz’s unforgettable music compositions accompanied the play, which was written by British writer Willy Russell and adapted by Sumru Puppy. In the play, the story of Shirley Valentine, who got lost in the boringness of her daily life and who, like many women, has even forgotten her dreams, was told. The play ended with a standing ovation from the audience. Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center activities will continue with the play "Mother" starring Defne Kayalar and Engin Hepileri on December 1, 2022.
