İstanbul Kültür University that consider culture and art as an indispensible part of academic and scientific education has been hosting many national and international culture events since its establishment in 1997. The Fine Arts Application and Research Center (GSUAM), established within our university with a structure open to constant change and innovation; aims to create a permanent energy within the university with its affinity to new trends in contemporary / contemporary art, exhibitions in different disciplines such as painting, photography, performance, video and installation.
The Fine Arts Application and Research Center, established under the Rectorate of Istanbul Kültür University, is a culture & art platform that organizes exhibitions, shows, concerts, educational programs and competitions in order to contribute to artistic production by following innovations in many fields of culture and art. Organizing activities in all fields related to art and culture, building relations with national and international organizations, conducting research, examination and project-centered activities constitute the main fields of İstanbul Kültür University Fine Arts Application and Research Center.
With the units of İKÜ Fine Arts Application and Research Center, it is aimed to plan and organize activities that will make a sound in the fields of exhibition, concert (orchestra, solo, vocal, chamber music, etc.) and stage performance (ballet, dance, theater, opera, etc.) with a systematic study.It is planned to organize themed activities, activities for young people and children, educational projects, joint arts events and events that meet different areas in line with the values and vision of İstanbul Kültür University.
The common denominator of İKÜ activities is the university-art-education association and the basic philosophy of art activities are the activities that integrate with education, develop corporate identity and sense of belonging, raise the art appreciation of the society that are contemporary, qualified and reach the target audience at the same time.
