IKU Fine Arts Application and Research Center (GSUAM) held its second exhibition opening of the season with “Archive Exhibitions: Ali Hâdi Bara” at IKU Art Gallery on Wednesday, December 14. Our Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design Prof. Dr. Mehmet Üstünipek made the opening speech of the exhibition, to which Our Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız and our Board of Trustees Advisor Ender Rıza Ekici also attended.

The theater play “And then There Were None” starring Ediz Hun, the unforgettable actor of Yeşilçam and featuring master actors, met with art lovers on Thursday, December 15, at 19.00, at Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center. The play from the pen of the world-famous writer Agatha Christie tells the mysterious murders committed after the invitation of ten people with entirely different personalities who do not know each other to a party to be given on a deserted island.

The play "Anne", starring renowned actors Engin Hepileri and Defne Kayalar, was staged for art lovers on Thursday, December 1 at 19.00 at Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center. Written by the Oscar-winning French writer Florian Zeller, the play tells the psychological strain of a mother caused by her individuality being dissolved and the loss of her agency in the modern patriarchal family structure . The play, which was staged with the magnificent performance of the actors under the directorship of Onur Ünsal, was a big success with the audience.
